🥣 Ingredients

  • 5 tbsp Viola milk powder
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 4 eggs
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla

For the caramel:

  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp water

👨‍🍳 Preparation Steps

  1. In a pot over medium heat, add the sugar and water to prepare the caramel. Allow it to melt and turn golden. Pour it immediately into the ramekins and let it cool.
  2. In a blender, add Viola milk powder with warm water and blend until fully dissolved.
  3. Add the eggs, sugar, and vanilla, then blend until well combined.
  4. Strain the mixture into the ramekins over the caramel layer.
  5. Place the ramekins in a deep baking tray and pour hot water around them until halfway up the sides.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for about 45 minutes or until set.
  7. Allow it to cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
  8. To unmold, run a knife around the edges and gently invert onto the serving plate.
