🥘 Ingredients

  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup Fork & Spoon vegetable ghee at room temperature
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • For garnish: almonds or pistachios

  1. Cream the Fork & Spoon vegetable ghee with powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add vanilla, then gradually add the flour while mixing until a soft, non-sticky dough forms.
  3. Shape small balls and place an almond or pistachio in the center of each.
  4. Arrange them on a parchment-lined tray, leaving small gaps between each piece.
  5. Bake in a low-temperature oven (160°C) for 15–18 minutes until the edges slightly change color without browning.
  6. Let them cool completely before transferring to avoid breaking.
Tip: You can chill the dough in the refrigerator for 15 minutes before shaping to help maintain the shape during baking.

  • Do not raise the oven temperature to keep the ghraybeh soft and delicate.
  • The better the ghee is creamed with the sugar, the softer the result will be.
